Description of activities, objectives reached, and outputs

The program focused on various environmental research and conservation initiatives in the Eastern Aegean Islands, in close collaboration with the Archipelagos team. The role of the new entrepreneur involved participating in field activities such as data collection and environmental assessment, as well as contributing to the design and implementation of scientific projects. The program also included attendance at workshops, seminars, and meetings organized by Archipelagos to gain a deeper understanding of the Institute’s methodologies, conservation strategies, and project management techniques. One of the main objectives was to build relationships with local stakeholders, including community members, environmental partners, university teams, and expert scientists. This experience also provided valuable insight into the financial and budget planning processes required to run a marine conservation NGO.
