PRESENTATION OF THE EXCHANGE

This exchange successfully aimed at theoretical and practical knowledge on creating and managing a youth non-profit organization through hands-on learning experience on funding/resources, Project Management and Development, quality European projects, Strengthen partnerships and networking across Europe, interaction with the National Agency/European programmes and the Management/ Monitoring of European Volunteers.

PROFILE OF THE ENTREPRENEURS

NEW ENTREPRENEUR

ChristinaTheodorou (NE) participated in the program for 6 months in the non-profit organization sector looking for valuable knowledge on creating an association/organization and developing Erasmus+ projects in social inclusion.

HOST ENTREPRENEUR

Joyce van den Boom(HE), with an extensive experience of more than 20 years in youth work, established “Bloom Socio-Cultural Association” in Lousã.

The HE was looking for fresh ideas to new and existing projects, increase of international dimension, create new partnerships in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects, help a newcomer to youth work and non-government organization realm limiting uneducated risks at the beginning of their career, share knowledge and experience, promote NGO cooperation and fight against competitive attitude amongst youth workers.
